Music has always been a part of who I am.
Long before I started building businesses, I was writing songs, playing guitar, and singing. Music was never just something I enjoyed. It was something I wanted to spend my life doing.
But life has a way of taking you down roads you never expected.
I spent years building businesses, partly because I thought that if I could become successful enough, I’d eventually have the time and freedom to pursue music the way I’d always wanted to.
The funny thing is, the more successful I became, the further away that dream seemed to get.
There was always another project, another responsibility, another reason to put music off until later.
And somewhere along the way, I started to wonder if later was ever going to come.
Then something changed.
Technology opened a door I hadn’t expected. Suddenly, I had a way to bring the music I’d been hearing in my head to life without needing a recording studio, a full band, or the resources that had always seemed just out of reach.
I started writing again.
And what began as a return to music turned into something much bigger.
The Long Way Home is a 12-song concept album about the human experience, where we come from, where we might be going, and what it means to find our way back to ourselves.
It explores some of the questions I’ve spent much of my life thinking about. Why are we here? Why do we keep repeating the same mistakes? What if there’s more to our existence than what we can see?
I don’t pretend to have the answers.
I’m just exploring the possibilities through music and storytelling.
The songs were written and developed by me, with AI-assisted production helping bring the arrangements and vocal performances to life. It’s a new way of creating, and one that finally allowed me to make the music I’d always imagined.
My hope is to continue growing as an artist, performing these songs myself, and eventually bringing them to life with other musicians.
But more than anything, I want the music to speak for itself.
If something in these songs makes you think, feel, question, or see the world a little differently, then I’ve accomplished something meaningful.
This is the music I’ve always wanted to make.
And in a lot of ways, it’s been a long road getting here.
