Privacy policy

This site is run by Bloodworth Productions. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you buy, log in, or join the email list.
• Your purchases: what you bought, when, and how much you paid, so we can give you access to your music.
• Basic technical information, such as your IP address, used briefly to keep the site secure and stop abuse.
• Anonymous visit counts, such as how many times the album page was viewed or a preview was played each day. These counts aren't linked to you and use no cookies.

We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.

How we use it

• To deliver your music and send your receipt and login links.
• To email you about music you own, such as new files added to your library.
• If you joined the email list, to tell you about new music and related news. You're only added after you confirm by clicking the link we email you, and we keep a record of when you confirmed. Every news email has an unsubscribe link. Buying music does not add you to the email list.

Services we use

These companies process data for us, only to run this site:

• Stripe (payments)
• Supabase (database and login)
• Resend (sending email)
• Cloudflare (file storage and email forwarding)
• Netlify (website hosting)

How long we keep it

• Purchase records: as long as needed for your library and as the law requires for tax and accounting.
• Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
• Security information such as IP addresses: only briefly, to stop abuse.

Cookies

We use one kind of cookie: the one that keeps you logged in to your library. No advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe may use its own cookies on its checkout page to prevent fraud.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@hearbloodworth.com. We keep basic purchase records as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.

Children

This site isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
